'Tyres don't last five kilometres' – Alonso

Fernando Alonso believes he won't be able to rely on Ferrari's long run pace on Sunday due to an inability to push more than 95 percent on a tyre last lasts little more than a lap. Ferrari looked relatively strong in the first sector and historically, Alonso has maximized any opportunity to gain position during the opening phase of races. However, Fernando believes the bottle-neck feature on the run to turn one will negate anything he might be able to achieve in the first few hundred meters. 'Tomorrow is a big opportunity for us.
