Sauber extends Ferrari engine deal
Sauber has confirmed an extension of its engine deal with Ferrari into the 2014 season.The Swiss team has revealed that terms have been agreed on a 'multi-year agreement' that will see it continue to make us of Ferrari's full powertrain, which includes engine, gearbox and energy recovery systems.Sauber has a long history with Ferrari having used the Italian manufacturer's engines both before and after it was taken over by BMW for four seasons.“We are pleased to extend our technical partnership with Ferrari taking Sauber into the new era of engines that starts in 2014,” team boss Monisha Kaltenborn said. “Ferrari has been a long standing partner of the team, first from 1997 to 2005...
