Hamilton upbeat after improved Friday

Lewis Hamilton reckons he can challenge for pole position in Korea after laying down a good foundation on Friday. The Mercedes driver set the pace in free practice at the Korean International Circuit, beating Sebastian Vettel in both sessions. While he was 0.037s up on the Red Bull racer in the morning, he extended his advantage to 0.108s on the supersoft tyres in the afternoon. "It's been a good day. Really happy with the way everything's gone," he told told Sky Sports F1. "We've still got some improvements to make set-up wise, but we look like we're competitive like we were in the last race."
