Ricciardo admits driver error

Daniel Ricciardo has vowed to learn from his Singapore shunt, admitting that it was the result of his own mistake. The Toro Rosso driver brought out the Safety Car on lap 25 at the Marina Bay circuit when, pushing too hard, he understeered into the wall. But rather than blame the car, the Red Bull-bound racer conceded the accident was his fault as he had been trying too hard to make up places. "The crash was my error, trying to make up for lost ground," said the Aussie. "At the start, my car just seemed to sit there without moving off the line. It was very frustrating to lose so many places right away. I think I went down five places from ninth on the grid to fourteenth....
