Ricciardo takes blame for race ending shunt

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo has accepted responsibility for a crash that put him out of the Singapore Grand Prix. Ricciardo was running in the midfield when he locked up at turn 18 and damaged the front right of his STR8. 'The crash was my error, trying to make up for lost ground,' he said. 'At the start, my car just seemed to sit there without moving off the line. It was very frustrating to lose so many places right away. I think I went down five places from ninth on the grid to fourteenth.' 'So I was on the back foot from then on, just trying to do the best I could.
