New Jersey expect 2014 slot

New Jersey race promoter Leo Hindery Jr says he expects the Grand Prix of America to be on the 2014 F1 calendar, despite being left off the preliminary schedule.The race was dropped from the 2013 calendar when it became clear the street circuit would not be ready in time. Fresh doubts were cast over the future of the race when it was not on the leaked 21 race calendar circulating in the paddock at the Italian GP, but F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone told Sky Sports F1, "we have a contract with New Jersey and I hope they can honour the contract."
