New Jersey chief confident over 2014
One of the key figures behind plans for an F1 race in New Jersey says is confident that the race will be on the 2014 F1 calendar when it is officially confirmed by the FIA.The Grand Prix of America had been due to run for the first time this year before being delayed when it became clear that financial issues would prevent the inaugural race from taking place.A draft calendar that appeared during the Italian Grand Prix weekend then failed to feature the New Jersey race, leading to talk that the plans would again not come to fruition.However, promoter Leo Hindery Jr insists that that exclusion was simply down to the fact that a payment to be made to the national sporting authority the ACCUS...
