Merc out to regain second place

Mercedes are promising a "big effort" in the final seven races of the season as they look to finish second in the Constructors' Championship. After impressing mid-season with three wins in five races, Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were not quite able to match those performances in Belgium and Italy. They finished the European season on a bit of a low as they only picked up 10 points between them at Monza and were overtaken in the team standings by Ferrari. Team principal Ross Brawn, though, insists they are determined to finish behind Red Bull in the standings and promises to go all out starting from this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix.
