McLaren expecting to maintain driver line-up for 2014

McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh has insisted that the team has no plans to change its driver line-up for 2014. Button confirmed over the Belgian Grand Prix weekend that his option for next year has yet to be signed by the team but expects to complete his career at McLaren. The Brit is currently in the second year of a contract negotiated and signed in 2011 after joining the team in 2010 to partner Lewis Hamilton. The Woking based squad holds an option to retain Button's services for 2014 which is believed to be subject to performances clauses met by the team.
