Schumacher surprised by Mercedes form

Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher says he has been surprised by the performances of his former Mercedes team so far this season. The German was unable to claim more than one podium finish during his three-year spell with the Brackley-based outfit, while Nico Rosberg and replacement Lewis Hamilton have notched up three races victories and seven pole positions in 2013. "Given where we finished last season, it's a surprise to see where they are now. I could not see that coming.
