Indian Grand Prix future in doubt

The Indian Grand Prix is unlikely to be included on next year's Formula 1 calendar, according to Bernie Ecclestone. The Buddh International Circuit joined the sport in 2011 but tax issues have plagued the event, with teams unhappy at not being granted an exemption due to the government not viewing Formula 1 as a sport. Organisers of the Russian Grand Prix also revealed last week that they have been given a provisional 2014 date of late October, traditionally used by the Indian Grand Prix.
