Marussia confirm Ferrari tie-up

Marussia have confirmed Ferrari as their new engine supplier with the Italian manufacturer providing them 1.6-litre V6 turbocharged power units from 2014. The Banbury squad have made use of Cosworth engines since their debut in 2010, but they have been forced to switch supplier with F1 switching to the new V6s next year. The team confirmed on Tuesday that they had signed a technical partnership with Ferrari. A statement from CEO Andy Webb said: "The importance of this development to our team cannot be overstated.
