Marussia secures long-term Ferrari engine deal

Marussia has secured a long-term Ferrari engine deal from 2014 onwards. The new 1.6-litre turbo engine regulations next season will see Marussia's current supplier, Cosworth, leave the sport and the team has been working all season to secure a new deal with Ferrari. The deal will also see the team supplied with Ferrari gearboxes and other systems. "The Marussia F1 Team is delighted to be entering into a technical partnership with Scuderia Ferrari for the supply of a full powertrain from 2014," Marussia CEO Andy Web said.
