Lowe to attend British GP with Mercedes

Paddy Lowe will make his first public appearance with Mercedes at the British Grand Prix this weekend following his move to the Brackley outfit. Lowe, who decided to leave McLaren after more than a decade, joined the German team on June 3rd after they struck a deal with McLaren to terminate his contract six months early. He takes up the position of executive director on the technical side, and will be present in the Formula 1 paddock for the first time since Brazil 2012. He is expected to take up the team principal role in future, with reports that Ross Brawn may leave at the end of the season.
