F1 drivers lead tributes to Simonsen after Le Mans tragedy 23 June, 2013 Allan Simonsen was a regular on podiums around the world Le Mans suffered its first race fatality in 27 years on Saturday when Danish driver Allan Simonsen crashed his Aston Martin only minutes into the 24 Hour sportscar classic at the La Sarthe circuit, prompting tributes from F1 drivers.
