V8: AUSTIN HERE WE COME

It has been a long road for V8 Supercars to get to Austin Texas. The TEXAS 400 was announced back in June 2011 when a 5 year deal was signed to stage the event and both Austin and V8 Supercars have not looked back. Teams, Drivers and Fans have been counting down the days to see how the cars will go around this amazing track. The elevation of the track has been the major talking point amongst the drivers as they have heard it is much like a roller coaster ride. Ticket sales have been consistent and V8 Supercar organisers are predicting an 80,000 strong crowd over the weekend which will be a good start to the 5 year campaign.
