McLaren and I had talks, reveals di Resta
Paul di Resta has acknowledged that rumours linking him to a possible McLaren ride this season had an element of truth to them, even though the Woking squad eventually opted for Sergio Perez as Jenson Button's team-mate.Appearing on stage at the Autosport International exhibition in the UK at the weekend, the Scot confirmed that there had been interest from McLaren, which shares a common engine supplier with his current employer, Force India. With Lewis Hamilton moving on to Mercedes for 2013, numerous contenders were linked to the seat alongside Button, including di Resta, Force India team-mate Nico Hulkenberg and McLaren old boy Heikki Kovalainen, before Ferrari protégé Perez waltzed...
