Hamilton skips key FIA meeting over Spa penalties
Jul.25 Several Formula 1 drivers reportedly skipped an important FIA meeting in Hungary to discuss driving standards and controversial stewarding decisions from Spa. According to reports, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Sergio Perez, Valtteri Bottas and Lance Stroll were among those absent. The meeting had already been scheduled before the Belgian GP, but gained added significance after Hamilton's first-lap collision with George Russell and Charles Leclerc's later contact with Oscar Piastri.
