George Russell disaster as Lewis Hamilton escapes double-penalty blow
George Russell was close to tears after spinning out of the Belgian Grand Prix on the opening lap, following a collision with Lewis Hamilton which saw the Ferrari driver penalised.
Hamilton escaped a second penalty after the race for an unsafe release, with the Briton having hit a mechanic who was attempting to adjust his front wing. Meanwhile, Kimi Antonelli made it six wins in 2026, extending his advantage in the championship to 45 points.
