Verstappen options narrowing as Red Bull crisis deepens

Jul.7 Max Verstappen's Formula 1 future remains the dominant paddock topic, with fresh reports suggesting the Dutchman may have fewer options than many believe despite his growing frustration at Red Bull. Verstappen left Silverstone in a foul mood after another rear wing failure, admitting he wanted to 'go home' and forget about Formula 1 after a weekend in which he also clashed with the team over its refusal to fit a new power unit and start from the pitlane. Now, reports in Italy claim Mercedes has already rejected Verstappen's willingness to accept a reduced salary of around EUR 50 million per year as part of a three-year deal, while McLaren also has no room in its driver lineup....
