Alonso rips into F1 hybrid cars: ‘They should not be racing’

Fernando Alonso has reignited his long-running war against Formula 1’s hybrid machinery with perhaps his most blunt verdict yet. The Aston Martin veteran has been a vocal critic of Formula 1’s latest generation of cars, arguing that the sport’s increasing dependence on energy management is stripping away the very essence of racing.
