Schumacher and Irvine paint the town red in Monaco

On this day in 1999 in Monaco, a dominant Michael Schumacher secured his 35th career win in F1, the German ace leading home in the Principality his Ferrari teammate Eddie Irvine. The lights-to-flag win was Schumacher's 16th victory with the Scuderia, an achievement that made him the Italian outfit's most successful driver in its history.
