Following Audi's signing of Nico Hulkenberg, Valtteri Bottas finds himself in a precarious position looking ahead to 2025.
Whilst Audi are not joining F1 until 2026 when the new power unit regulations are introduced, Hulkenberg will race for Stake F1 in 2025.
With Carlos Sainz also being heavily linked with a 2025 move to Stake F1 in preparations for Audi's arrival in 2026, it is looking increasingly likely that Bottas will require a move elsewhere to remain in F1.
Bottas has recently stated that he has "options", with the only real possible destinations being either Williams or Haas.
Of course, if Sainz rejects Audi's big money proposal, then the ex-Mercedes driver could even be retained by the Hinwil-based side.
