Robin Frijns is back in the Formula E paddock after a two-month absence. The ABT Cupra driver has fully recovered from fractures in his hand and wrist, which he sustained during the first ePrix of the season in Mexico. He assures that he is pain-free and completely ready for his return in Sao Paulo.

In a video on Formula E's official Twitter channel, Frijns says he is feeling good, but mostly happy to be back. "It's a good place to come back," he says of the Sao Paulo Street Circuit, which is hosting an ePrix for the first time. "I think it's going to be a very exciting race because, with the long straight slipstream, everybody will be quite close together."

Having just recovered from a heavy injury does not mean the 31-year-old Dutchman plans to take it easy. Asked whether he will go into the race weekend full send or rather steadily, a clear answer follows: "I would always say 'full send'."

The race weekend in Brazil will kick off with the first free practice session, scheduled for Friday night at 26:25 local time. Saturday follows a full programme that requires drivers to get up early: second free practice starts as early as 07:25 local time. Qualifying is scheduled for 09:40, followed by the race at 14:03 local time.
