FIA concerned over media leaking allegations against president

The FIA has expressed significant concern over the emergence of allegations in the media, which they describe as involving incorrect information. These allegations, reported to concern FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem, surfaced following the Bahrain Grand Prix that marked the beginning of the F1 2024 season. According to the BBC, two complaints were submitted to the FIA's compliance officer, accusing Ben Sulayem of trying to reverse a penalty against Fernando Alonso and attempting to obstruct the homologation of the new Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit.
