Krack prepared to risk repeat of Alonso-Stroll near miss

Article To news overview © XPBimages Aston Martin boss Mike Krack says he is willing to let his Formula 1 drivers race after a near-miss in the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix. On the opening lap, Lance Stroll went deep into Turn 4 and locked up, just as Fernando Alonso cut back to the inside to attempt an overtake on a Mercedes. Fortunately for Aston, Stroll's left-front did not do much damage to the right-rear of Alonso's tyre which took the full force of the impact. The team went onto score a three-six finish with Alonso and Stroll as some of the hype of Aston's pre-season proved true. And Krack believes the incident is just one of those things that can happen in Grand Prix racing....
