Alex Albon says he will drive at the Singapore Grand Prix

Article To news overview © XPBimages Alex Albon says he will be driving the FW44 for Williams at this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix. The London-born Thai had to sit out the Italian Grand Prix due to suffering from appendicitis, prompting him to be replaced by Nyck de Vries. After being admitted to hospital for surgery, Albon subsequently had complications which led to respiratory failure and a brief period in intensive care. Williams had put De Vries on standby in case he was needed again, after Albon admitted that it might be "tough" to be ready in time for Singapore.
