Mercedes announce major achievements in second Sustainability report
Mercedes issued their second annual sustainability report and revealing a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions as well as an update on their Accelerate 25 programme. The eight-time Formula 1 Constructors' Champions said in a statement: 'The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team are pleased to announce the publication of our annual Sustainability Report. The report captures our continued drive towards sustainable high performance and aims to provide a transparent and comprehensive overview of our environmental and social initiatives and impacts for the period from August 2021 to August 2022, including the publication of our externally audited 2021 CO2 footprint.
