How Perez ensured maximum points for Red Bull in Barcelona

The team had been made to wait six years for a 1-2 finish (since 2016) before Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez stood on the top two steps of the podium at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix – and just two races on, they repeated the trick in Barcelona. As was the case at Imola, the Milton Keynes-based squad also secured an extra bonus point for completing the race's fastest lap, with Perez pipping solid efforts from George Russell and Lewis Hamilton to register a 1:24.108 late in the Grand Prix.
