Marko praises Verstappen: 'We are encouraged by this now'.
After the United States Grand Prix, Helmut Marko was overjoyed when Max Verstappen crossed the finish line as the first driver to do so. Red Bull Racing was thus the boss of competitor Mercedes. The Dutchman drove a rock-solid race by reclaiming the lead in the GP after a disappointing start and then making no mistakes. Although Hamilton came closer at the end of the race and looked set to overtake Verstappen, the Red Bull driver managed to take the win.
