Ocon finished the Turkish GP without a pit stop: this driver did it before

Esteban Ocon took a big gamble with Alpine during the Turkish Grand Prix. He was the only driver to finish the entire race on the same set of tyres. It's been a while since that last happened: we have to go all the way back to the Monaco Grand Prix in 1997. For the first time in a long time a driver finished a Formula 1 race on the same set of tyres. Ocon was brave enough to take the gamble at Istanbul Park and score a point. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc also tried to finish the race, but had to come in for a new set of intermediates in the final stage.
