Verstappen to start from the back for Russian GP after engine change
Article To news overview © Honda F1 Max Verstappen will start the Russian Grand Prix from the very back, after Red Bull elected to fit the Dutch driver's car out with a fourth engine. Red Bull took the opportunity to fit Verstappen's RB16B with a fresh engine after the first practice session, utilising the lunch break between the two practice sessions to get the new power unit fitted. As just three power units are permitted for a season, the fourth Honda engine being fitted to the Red Bull means Verstappen will start from the very back for Sunday's race. Breaking news.
