'When Max was unable to respond on the team radio, time stood still'

Max Verstappen collided hard with Lewis Hamilton during the Silverstone Grand Prix, crashing into a tire pile at full speed. Although there were major concerns about his physical condition, Verstappen appeared to have suffered no major injuries. Team boss Christian Horner was quite shocked when he saw the accident. "That was the biggest accident Max has had in his racing career and the first, and hopefully last time he’s hospitalised," Horner said of the incident in his column on RedBull.com.
