Norris sets unique record, leaving Hamilton and Alonso behind

Lando Norris has set a new, special record with McLaren in the British Grand Prix. The young Briton has now reached fifteen consecutive Grands Prix in the points. With that unique performance, he leaves world champions such as Fernando Alonso, Mika Hakkinen and Lewis Hamilton behind. Since the 2020 Emilia Romagna GP (held on 1 November last year), Norris has finished in the top-ten in all fifteen races on Sunday. Alonso held the record with fourteen races. In the list we see according to AS Hakkinen on twelve, while Hamilton at McLaren managed to finish twelve GP's in a row in the points.
