Ferrari’s new F1 simulator gets the green light ahead of 2022

The fitting of the new simulator was completed this week in a new building that sits between the main office of the Gestione Sportiva at Maranello and the Fiorano track.  Ferrari has revealed that calibration work will be carried out ahead of its use in September as the Italian marquee begins simulator work for its 2022 challenger.  Its current simulator will still be used for development work on Ferrari’s SF21 - the 2021 car, in preparation for race weekends, as well as supporting members of the Ferrari Driver Academy. Ferrari’s new simulator took two years to build and has been described as “generational”. Related Articles Gasly wants AlphaTauri to “revise” Austrian GP F1...
