Welcome to the liveblog for Free Practice 2 of the second Formula 1 race at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc topped FP1 earlier ahead of his teammate Sebastian Vettel and both Mercedes.
Leclerc's time of 1:30.354 was a quarter of a second ahead of his teammate and a second quicker than both Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton.
The Red Bull's of Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly finished in fifth and sixth, with Verstappen seemingly having a hydraulic issue with his car before practice even got under way.
The rest of the top ten were filled by McLaren's Carlos Sainz, Renault's Nico Hulkenberg, Toro Rosso's Daniil Kyvat and finally Kimi Raikkonen in his Alfa Romeo.
Towards the closing stages of FP1 there was an incident between Hulkenberg and Antonio Giovinazzi, in which the Italian was sent airborne. Both have been summoned to the stewards for the incident and further investigation.
