Daniel Ricciardo has ended his Red Bull career by visiting the Red Bull factory before he starts with Renault in 2019.

On Thursday he gave his last interview to Red Bull saying: “It was very cool, which I think helps me not to think too much about it, is to think that I'm not going to retire, if I would stop, it might have been different, I'm just moving.

“It has made me realize that I am not ready to quit, and because of the way some people talked about it, I'm glad I'm not retiring.” The Australian said.

Ricciardo has been a part of the Red Bull team since 2008 and has competed for them in classes such as Formula 3 and the Renault World Series. He made the step up to Formula 1 in 2011 with HRT before two seasons with Toro Rosso and then his step up to Red Bull in 2014.

He had his final official day at the Red Bull factory on Friday where he and former teammate Max Verstappen drifted around the factory on motorbikes before speaking to the staff, who had the chance of a signing session.
