Fernando Alonso will start from the back of the grid after suffering yet more engine penalties for McLaren.
The Spaniard is the fifth driver to receive penalties for power unit part replacements and will join the two red Bulls and Toro Rossos at the back of Sunday’s grid for the Russian Grand Prix.
Alonso has taken a new internal combustion engine, turbos, MGU-H and MGU-K as he enters the final six races of his F1 career.
Alonso called time on his illustrious career back in the summer break and only has six races left in the sport before he searches for success elsewhere.
Unless there are any more engine penalties, Alonso will start 16th, as Lando Norris, driving his car on Friday, emerged from the pitlane in FP1 before either Red Bull or Toro Rosso drivers.
Daniel Ricciardo will be 17th, followed by Max Verstappe, Pierre Gasly and Brendon Hartley.
Hopefully we can see one last classic Alonso drive through the field and into the points!
