Stoffel Vandoorne won't lose his McLaren seat to any other driver, according to the driver's manager.

There have been strong rumours that Vandoorne will be sacked by McLaren followiing his underwhelming season so far.

Vandoorne is one of a few drivers whose seat is under threat after failing to impress this season in his MCL33.

Most rumours about other drivers suggest that they will be switching teams at the end of the season, but in Vandoorne's case, the speculation has been that he will be dropped in the next race or two.

His manager Alessandro Alunni Bravi rubbishes the speculation that Vandoorne will lose his McLaren seat.

"There are always rumours. There were too many this weekend I think, they do not really reflect reality," Vandoorne's manager told PlanetF1.com.

"Stoffel is a McLaren driver for the 2018 season. He will be at McLaren until the end of the season, that's for sure."

However, Bravi admitted that the Belgian could swap teams for next season's campaign.

"Many drivers are talking with teams to find possibilities, the same is true for us. We want to get a good car for Stoffel and he has to focus on his work, so I'm looking at all the options. McLaren is the priority for us.

"But if the team is not a good option for next year, we'll look at other options that are there for Stoffel."
