Romain Grosjean has attributed his crash during Friday practice for the British GP to failing to turn off his DRS device after hitting a bump at the first corner at Silverstone.
Grosjean was ruled out of Practice Two after crashing out into the barriers at Abbey.
For this weekend's event, a third DRS zone has been added into the first turn. But after his crash, Grosjean radioed his Haas team to confirm he had "missed the button" to switch off his DRS device as he began to turn into the high-speed corner after running over a bump on the circuit.
The Haas team, who enjoyed their best-ever F1 weekend at the Austrian GP when Grosjean finished fourth, confirmed that a chassis change was required, ruling the Frenchman out of Practice Two.
