Schumacher makes it nine, like Nige

Share on.. ©X.com On this day in 1995, Michael Schumacher won the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, equaling at the time Nigel Mansell's record of nine wins in a single F1 season. The German driver's victory also offered the Constructors' title to the Benetton team. Just a week before at the Pacific Grand Prix in Aida, Schumacher had secured his second consecutive world crown, a feat that made the future F1 legend the youngest double world champion in F1 history.
