F1: Mexico City Grand Prix: Qualifying team notes - Ferrari
FP3: It was a productive final hour of practice for the Scuderia drivers who worked on race pace, doing long runs in the first part of the session. This allowed the team to carry out checks on cooling, which will be a key factor tomorrow. Track conditions improved throughout the session as the surface continued to rubber-in. Lewis and Charles fitted Soft tyres in the last 10 minutes for qualifying simulation runs. Q1: With higher temperatures than in the morning track evolution was very strong, with grip improving throughout. Charles managed to go through only using one set of new tyres, while Lewis used two.
