F1: Mexico City Grand Prix: Practice team notes - Mercedes
Kimi Antonelli, George Russell, and Reserve Driver Fred Vesti all took to the track on the first day of running ahead of Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix. Completing his second and final rookie session of the season, Fred diligently worked through his programme completing both single lap and high fuel work whilst running the Hard and the Soft compound tyres. He was on track alongside Kimi, who set the second fastest time of FP1 before our usual line-up returned for FP2. The team got its first look at the C4 Medium compound in FP2 with both George and Kimi long running the yellow walled tyre.
