‘Much better' team emerges as serious option for Sergio Perez
Sergio Pérez is weighing a route back onto the Formula 1 grid and finds himself wooed by Cadillac and, unexpectedly, Alpine. Reports place the six-time race winner atop Cadillac’s shortlist for its 2026 entry, yet pundit Juan Pablo Montoya believes a vacancy at Enstone offers a faster track to competitiveness. Montoya’s Advice “I would still think Sergio Pérez’s main aim is to get the Cadillac seat, but if he can get into the Alpine next year, that would be much better for him,” Montoya said.
