The first race of a Formula 1 driver’s career should be a huge highlight. A time for excitement, anticipation, and the start of a journey that you’d expect to last more than seven rounds. But Jack Doohan already had his future being called into question even as he lined up in the grid in Abu Dhabi at the end of last year.
