Miami GP: Kimi Antonelli stuns - takes historic Sprint pole!

© XPB  Michael Delaney 02/05/2025 at 22:3202/05/2025 at 22:41 Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli delivered a breakout performance in Sprint Qualifying at the Miami Grand Prix, claiming a sensational maiden pole for Saturday’s Sprint race. The 18-year-old Italian produced a commanding 1m26.482s lap late in the final SQ3 segment, narrowly edging out both McLaren drivers in a tense and closely fought finale. Oscar Piastri came closest to dethroning Antonelli with a time just 0.045s shy of the rookie’s benchmark, while teammate Lando Norris was a mere 0.100s behind, locking out second and third for McLaren.   Miami Grand Prix - Sprint qualifying results Reigning World...
