Mexico City to stay on F1 calendar through 2028

The Mexico City Grand Prix will be part of the Formula 1 calendar until at least the end of the 2028 season after signing a three-year contract extension. The event at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez returned to the schedule in 2015 and has seen large crowds and a vibrant atmosphere throughout the past decade, with over 400,000 fans attending in 2024. Paired with the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas in late October, the race helps form a section of the calendar that sees F1 in the Americas as the season approaches its conclusion.
