Fires and horror crash stoke Japanese GP chaos
A horror 185 mph crash for Alpine's Jack Doohan and two shock grass fires caused chaos on Friday at Suzuka, as the drivers lost 36 minutes of running in second practice ahead of this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix. McLaren topped the timesheets ahead of Racing Bulls' Isack Hadjar, as the sister team again outshone Red Bull; however, Yuki Tsunoda was much closer to Max Verstappen than many expected.
