Domenicali to remain F1 CEO through 2029
Stefano Domenicali will remain as CEO of Formula 1 until at least the end of 2029 after signing a five-year renewal to his agreement with the sport’s owner Liberty Media. Liberty selected Domenicali to take over from former CEO Chase Carey in 2021, and the former Ferrari team principal and Audi VP has overseen continued growth for F1 since that point. Announcing Domenicali’s contract extension, Liberty says the sport’s “ecosystem has never been stronger for all stakeholders,” with new Liberty president and CEO Derek Chang saying the Italian has helped ensure F1 innovates as it looks to continue its momentum as a business. “We are thrilled to renew Stefano and look forward to...
