McLaren ‘key architect’ Prodromou gets contract extension
McLaren has announced a multi-year contract extension for one of its senior technical leaders, with Peter Prodromou described as a “key architect” of its recent championship success. Prodromou holds the title of technical director, aerodynamics, and was a high-profile signing when he rejoined McLaren from Red Bull in 2014. At the time he was chief engineer but took on his current position in early 2023 and since that time has been part of an impressive rate of improvement that has taken McLaren from the midfield to the constructors’ title last year.
